Las Vegas Trip - Day 4 (Apr.22.2011)

The fourth day. It was the second day of the VLV event. We did a minimum shopping in Las Vegas because there was a jiving lesson by Miss Wolff's Jiving School from 1PM to 4PM. One of the reasons we joined the event was to learn how to jive.

We didn't woke up early, or I would say we couldn't wake up early... We had late breakfast and went to Las Vegas Harley Davidson to buy a part for my Roadking which was "Insert, Handlebar Cover 56914-08." It was a small part, but expensive than I thought. $24.95 + $2.02 tax, but if I buy this in Japan the price will be doubled... The LVHD was huge and we were surprised. We tried to look for motorcycle riding boots for my wife, but couldn't find a good size for her... I bought a T-shirt and some small gift for my friends.

We went back to the hotel and hurried to the lesson, but we ran late. It was fortunate the first part of the lesson was stroll. My wife practiced before going to the US, she did it right ;-)
Hopefully, we could keep up with the basic jiving, but as the level went up, I felt it was not easy to follow. Although my friend Zack and Dollie told us it was easy, but that didn't work for me... Anyway we had very fun time learning jiving.
The pool party was going on, but we didn't have time to go since we need sometime for taking a rest after the class.

We tried buffet for our dinner. It was fun to watch many different foods, but the taste was so so for us. Crab legs and oysters were popular in the US, too.

Horton Brothers
Medallions

After seeing vendors to buy some gifts for our daughters, we saw the Horton Brothers, the Medallions, and Joe Bennett & the Sparkletones.
All of them were great, especially the Medallions was the first original doo wop group I've ever seen.
However, we needed some rest for the Sureshots which would start at 1:45AM. They were one of my favorite bands from the 90's. Yes, they rocked!
